1 Timothy 1:12-16

Daily Scripture

“I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, though formerly I was a blasphemer, persecutor, and insolent opponent. But I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief, and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.”

Don’t wait to be faithful! The time is now. One must know it does not take extreme intelligence to be faithful to our Lord and Savior. Jesus was sent to die for us to save sinners. There are those living under the illusion of their own righteousness. No human will ever be without sin; therefore all are in need of God’s salvation, which God chose to freely give. While in human form, we are all sinners, and what may be thought of as the “worst sinners” will also receive God’s grace, mercy, patience, and forgiveness. As Tony has stated in the past, “the ground is level at the foot of the cross.”

All sinners who call upon Him as their Lord and Savior will have eternal life in Heaven.
