God's presence has always been expressed through the symbols of light and fire, from the creation of the world to the pillar of fire that guided Israel. Jesus is recognized as the "true light" who offers an abundant way to live, shifting and reconstructing everything He touches. As believers, the mission is to testify to this light by living it out every day through good works, helping others move from the domain of darkness to their loving Father. By igniting hearts, the church seeks to provide hope and compassion in a world often characterized by hopelessness and brokenness.

The world’s view of purpose revolves around self-pursuit and earthly things, which often leads to a "small and meaningless" existence. Instead, true purpose is discovered through the investment of one's life into others, following the example of Jesus, who achieved His purpose through the sacrifice of the Cross. By "emptying" oneself and assuming the form of a servant, a person finds a generative and creative life. Ultimately, purposeful living is found when an individual identifies with what they give, whether it be time, talent, or money, rather than what they get, becoming a "fountain of life" for the world.

Belmont prioritizes honesty and transparency over the pressure to appear flawless. Real faith is viewed as a daily journey of renewing the mind in Jesus, recognizing that renewal is only possible when there is a deficit or a need. This honesty fosters deep community and "real friendship" where worldly categories are left behind, and individuals are committed to one another's growth. Rather than faking success, believers are encouraged to carry one another's burdens and restore those who struggle with a gentle spirit, realizing that relational depth comes from perseverance rather than perfection.

We are dedicated to creating environments where both believers and non-believers can honestly encounter Jesus and His Church. May we be found overflowing with "integrity"—being whole and honest—over mere religious consistency or routines that can become stagnant and self-righteous. Following God is a movement. May we never let it become a dead monument. This requires believers to be teachable, flexible, and willing to embrace change. The goal is to move away from comfortable "religious rules" and instead cultivate spaces that test the authenticity of our integrity and reinforce a constant dependence on encountering God daily.

Defining greatness through service, we reject worldly leadership models that "lord it over" others or seek prestige and power. Because power acts as a magnifier of what is already in the heart, believers are called to calibrate their hearts to the posture of Jesus, who "did not come to be served, but to serve". This requires a willingness to perform even the lowest tasks with joy and to step into the "sacrificially healing" work of Christ. By choosing the way of the "suffering servant," the church aims to have a mending and saving impact on the community.

Belmont views its work as a mission-driven movement rather than a static monument. This value warns against the temptation to stagnate in "maintenance mode," which often leads to arguing over trivialities and forgetting the original call to follow God into the unknown. Multiplication requires following Jesus out of comfort zones and into new relational opportunities with those in need of the Good News. By remaining mobile and responsive to the Holy Spirit, the church seeks to expand the Kingdom of Jesus wherever a door is opened, focusing on building a multiplying movement rather than a stationary idol to past achievements.
