All scripture from Genesis to Revelation has been given to us by God, is holy, and is true. Timothy says it’s profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. Just think about all the ways God’s Word teaches us. It teaches us how to have pure hearts, how to love others, how to trust God in hard times, it gives us wisdom, and so much more. We are all prone to wonder away from God at times, and that’s why we need reproof, correction, and training in righteousness, so that you and I can be right with God and be complete. He ends by saying “…that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work,” meaning that as we read God’s Word and apply it to our lives, we can tell others about what God has done in our lives. God’s Word gives us all we need to take on this world.
