Daily Devotion
In Joshua 1:9, the Lord commands us to be strong and courageous and to not be dismayed. To be strong means to be able to withstand great force or pressure. We are told to be this way because God is on our side. There have been many times in my life when I have been at the lowest of lows and have felt alone in my trials, and this verse has given me the encouragement I need to get up and keep going. No matter what the trial is, we know we can make it through anything that comes our way because God has already written the way and is with us wherever we go. God says I don’t need to feel dismayed, so I put my trust in him and move forward. God is with you in struggles, and you are not alone.
