Joseph’s life was turned upside down when he learned of Mary’s pregnancy. His plans for a quiet, conventional life were upended, but God called him to trust in something greater. Joseph’s obedience required setting aside his own expectations and embracing God’s purpose, even when it didn’t make sense. Like Joseph, we are often called to surrender our plans and step forward in faith, trusting that God’s vision for our lives is better than we can imagine.
