Daily Scripture
“But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, “In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.” It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.”
Jude 1:17-23

3 Things To Take From The Book of Jude
1) We must be on guard against false teachings. This comes with being close to God and knowing what is true by reading and remembering His Word. Also, we can stand guard by being in prayer and asking God for understanding and wisdom. Before I read my Bible, I ask God for understanding and to clear my mind.
2) We must stand firm in our faith. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” When we put our faith in God, we can get through hard times, because we are leaning on an all-powerful God. We have comfort knowing that Jesus has conquered death and is coming back to receive us.
3) We must encourage other believers and not judge them when they might be struggling. A few things we should do is pray with them, listen to them, talk through it with them, and get them involved in a small group. Isaiah 41:10 says, ”Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
