Betrayal doesn’t always look like treachery. Sometimes, it looks like sharing a meal. Judas sat at the same table where Jesus offered the bread and the cup—symbols of sacrificial love—and still chose to hand Him over. The tragedy of betrayal is how ordinary it can look. We can participate in sacred things, say all the right words, and still have hearts misaligned with Jesus. It’s not just Judas. It’s us, too.
