Trust in God's Provision in Times of Need

Daily Scripture

“The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians. The Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Sukkoth. There were about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children. Many other people went up with them, and also large droves of livestock, both flocks and herds.”

Exodus 12:35–38

devotion

The Israelites, despite being freed from the grip of Egypt, left with more than they could have imagined—wealth from the very people who once enslaved them. This is an example of God's faithful provision. Even when the path ahead seems uncertain, God equips us for the journey in ways we might never expect. The Israelites' departure wasn't just about escape; it was about God fulfilling His promises and providing for His people. In the same way, God provides for us during our moments of need.

How have you seen God's provision in your life, even in unexpected or difficult circumstance?
