Daily Scripture
“Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.”
Hebrews 11:16
devotion
Hope isn't just about improving our circumstances here on earth; it’s about looking forward to the promise of eternity with God. The heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 knew that their ultimate hope wasn’t found in earthly success, but in the fulfillment of God’s promises in the life to come. As we hold on to the hope of eternal life, we can find peace and purpose in the present, knowing that the best is yet to come. Our hope in Christ transforms how we live today by reminding us that our true home is with Him forever.
How does the hope of eternity shape your perspective on the struggles and joys of today? In what ways can you live with an eternal perspective in your daily life?
