Daily Scripture
"When she saw that he was beautiful, she hid him for three months. But when she could no longer hide him, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with asphalt and pitch. She placed the child in it and set it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile."
Exodus 2:3
devotion
Moses was saved through the actions of several women, each playing a vital part in his journey. His life began in danger, yet God was already using his history to shape him for something greater. Just like Moses, we can often feel that our past is too broken for God to use, but God is never afraid of our history. He works through all of it—both good and bad. If we allow Him, God can take our fractured past and turn it into something that glorifies Him.
How can you allow God to redeem and use parts of your history that you feel disqualify you from His plans?
