Daily Scripture
"But Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in the land of Midian, and sat down by a well."
Exodus 2:15
devotion
Moses' impetuous decision to kill the Egyptian stemmed from a deep sense of justice, but his actions were rash. This moment of failure became a turning point, one that led him to Midian, a place where God would continue to shape his identity. We, too, may make mistakes in our pursuit of righteousness, but God does not waste those mistakes. In fact, our failures can often lead to a deeper understanding of God's calling.
Have you ever felt that your mistakes were wasted or beyond redemption? How can God turn your failures into something meaningful for His kingdom?
