The Power of God's Salvation

Daily Scripture

“As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord. They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt? Didn’t we say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone; let us serve the Egyptians’? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the desert!”

Exodus 14:10–12

devotion

After the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea, the Israelites quickly encountered hardship again, this time in the form of bitter water at Marah. But God, who had just performed a mighty miracle, showed them the way forward. God’s salvation is not a one-time event but an ongoing journey where He provides, heals, and leads us even through the wilderness. Faith in God means trusting that He is with us in the highs and lows, providing what we need when we need it.

When you face setbacks after experiencing God's blessings, how do you respond? Do you doubt His provision, or trust in His continued faithfulness?
