The Value of Time

Daily Scripture

“Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.”

Philippians 1:12

devotion

In our fast-paced world, time often feels like a scarce resource. We rush from one task to another, rarely pausing to consider how we are investing our time. Philippians 1:12 reminds us that even in difficult circumstances, like Paul's imprisonment, we can use our time to advance the Gospel. Paul saw his imprisonment not as a setback but as an opportunity to further God's kingdom. This perspective challenges us to look beyond our immediate situations and focus on God's greater plan for our lives.

How can you shift your perspective to see your current circumstances as opportunities to advance God's kingdom?

“God can use those that he heals for miraculous purposes.” - Pastor Luke

Prayer: Lord, help me to see my time as a valuable resource that can be used to further Your kingdom. Teach me to look beyond my immediate circumstances and focus on Your greater plan. Amen.
