Daily Scripture
“Now listen, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.' Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”
James 4:13-14
devotion
When we give and have a generous heart, God takes those things and uses them to multiply His kingdom. Being generous with our time means prioritizing relationships, serving in ministry, and being a story collector. It requires us to focus beyond our circumstances and invest in what truly matters. James 4:13-16 reminds us that we are not in control of our time, but God is. By surrendering our time to Him, we can create a lasting legacy that outlives us.
In what ways can you be more generous with your time to serve others and advance God's kingdom?
