Daily Scripture
"Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship."
Romans 12:1
devotion
Everyone has a throne in their heart. It's the seat of power, the place where decisions are made. For many, this throne is occupied by self, making us the center of our universe. But in salvation, we are called to surrender this throne to Jesus, the true King. Worship is not about what we do on a Sunday morning; it's about every moment we live with God at the center. But the challenge is that, like a living sacrifice, we often try to climb back onto that throne, pushing Jesus aside. True worship involves continuous surrender, allowing Him to reign where He belongs.
Who or what sits on the throne of your life right now? What does it look like for you to place Jesus at the center of everything?
